Tuesday Update

Here I am with another update on my WIPs. First off I want to thank everyone who took the time to check out my blog. It's so encouraging and always appreciated. On Friday I joined a new SAL. It's called Totally Useless SAL. I saw it on Chrizette's blog. It's another little push that keeps me going. I wonder how long it will take me to fill the jar. Thank you Chrizette.

This past week I have been sick courtesy of my little one. Since I can only take so much laying down, so I pulled out the Permin sampler. It was really nice to work on even with the frogs. I have about a third of the first page done. I think I am going to keep this out for a while since the Dolly Mamas gotten on my last nerve. It's always the small ones with me,lol.

Then the next day I worked on Seven Days. I am back and forth on this one as far as liking to work on it. I didn't care for doing the stars. I don't know why but they just looked messy. I guess I'm just moody, lol. I will be working on it tonight while watching Deadliest Catch. I am happy Capt. Phil will be back on his ship. He was out with blood clots in his lungs. He was missed him.

Yesterday was Monday and that means Monopoly. I kept getting interrupted. I am not sure if it's because it's Monday or if it's just the project :0) I am really starting to like working on this. As it is so much easier since I passed go. Slowly but surely it will get done. Well that's all folks. Thanks for looking!

LOL...you joined the Totally Useless SAL. I love this one, although I'm not participating. I'm collecting in a box my threads since 3 years and planning to use it as a filling for something.
Your Permin Sampler looks fantastic. I really love that one. Your 7 days look great too.

Your WIP's all look fantastic. Monopoly is really fun and only the corners seem to slow it down some.

Ooops, sorry. Meant to ask -- would you please leave me a slightly closer geographic location either on my blog on e-mail. We like to keep this for the TUSAL List to see where we all are...(I'm actually thinking of making a map at this point)

Even if you are sick you do beautiful work. Sorry you have been sick. I learned when I had my hand surgery to stitch while almost laying down with my left hand. I am left handed but I use my right all the time and stitch with it.
I have posted my snowmen pictures on addictedtosnow in the yahoo groups. I have put a lot of unframed and framed ones on this site. Check it out if you can get into it. If you can't let me know and I will put them on my other blog. Yes, I have two but purely by accident. Who knew?
God Bless and feel better ~

Oh, I forgot I ordered the 7 days . . . and it came ~ all because I saw it on your blog. It is really pretty and I have decided to do the outline stitch in 924 instead of the brown. I like your red color for the outline. Looks great! I am also doing TUSAL but forgot to take a June 22 picture. So I will do it July instead.
Cheers ~
